Best performance radiator for the G8 available
My stock plasitc tank radiator top outlet (where the hose is clamped on to) cracked off (common problem on gm factory plastic radiators, probably due to the clamp itself) and I needed a more "durable" replacement

Now on to the aluminum radiator....
First of it is a BEAUTIFIUL radiator. Quality of the build (welds/ materials) is awesome. Best of all the price is very reasonable. (Cheaper than a stock radiator from the stewardship, and not an arm and a leg more than a crappy stock replacement.

A few minor fitment problems...
-The stock radiator cap did not screw on. I had to shave a few millimeters of the threads of the neck. Fits perfectly now.
-The top fan shroud mounting screw holes on the top was a little too small, so I had to drill it out a tad. Easy fix, good now.
Other than that, its pretty much a direct bolt in radiator.

If I could, I would give it a 4.5 star rating due to the minor modifications I had to do listed above to make it fit. I've been driving around with the new radiator installed for about 2k miles (lots of driving in stop and go traffic) with absolutely no problems. The car runs at around the same temp as stock but the best benefits are.....its MUCH more durable than the stock plastic tank junk, and it looks a hell of a lot better when you pop the hood open!!
